Getting ready for big school
Kangaroo’s Room is our preschool environment for children aged 4–5 — the important year before school. We focus on confidence, independence and a strong sense of belonging.
Play-based learning is combined with intentional teaching, so children explore, investigate and learn through meaningful experiences in a room where they feel safe and respected.
Experiences are guided by children’s interests and strengths, with educators intentionally extending learning to support communication, creativity, critical thinking and wellbeing. Families are valued as partners, and open communication helps us support each child’s learning at home and here.
A nurturing and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to grow, take risks and feel confident as they prepare for the exciting transition to school.

Social skills, cooperation and emotional regulation — practised every day.
